Halloween Smoked Salmon Sandwich Canapés

INGREDIENTS

  • 7oz (200g) smoked salmon from Bakkafrost
  • approx. 8 slices of bread
  • 3.5oz (100g) cream cheese
  • 20-24 tips fresh green beans
  • 1 sheet nori wrap

 

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Cut the Bread: Use a round cookie cutter or a jar lid to cut out circles from the bread.

STEP 2

Spread the Cream Cheese: Generously spread cream cheese over each bread circle to hold the salmon in place.

STEP 3

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the smoked salmon into circles using the same cookie cutter you used for the bread.

STEP 4

Add the Green Beans: Trim the tips off the green beans and place them on top of the cream cheese, allowing them to hang off slightly to resemble pumpkin stems.

STEP 5

Layer the Salmon: Carefully place the salmon circles over the cream cheese, covering it completely.

STEP 6

Create Faces with Nori: Cut the nori wrap into shapes for the pumpkins' mouths and eyes. Place these onto the salmon to give your canapés a spooky look.

STEP 7

Serve and Enjoy: Arrange your salmon pumpkin sandwiches on a platter and watch them come to life at your Halloween gathering!
