I used to get this fresh up in Petoskey Michigan every summer,. However this way is just amazing to get it down here in Texas !
So easy to defrosts , and the flavor is outstanding. I will order with the skin on next time as I prefer to cook it that way in the future.

Absolutely perfect salmon , perfectly packed, gorgeous orange color, perfectly cut, not too thick, not too thin, mouth-
watering taste.
Salmon just doesn’t get any better than this…

I had a problem with my delivery not showing up when promised. Then delivered to the wrong address. Finally after several attempts to reach someone, they rectified my problem the next day with a fresh shipment. I was most happy, because the product is so good and actually the best. I haven’t been a big fan of Salmon until I tried this one. I look forward to the nights I have it for dinner!

We received our fish last Thursday — one whole salmon (about 11 lbs) and a half fillet (4 lbs). It arrived very fresh and was extremely well packaged. Although it was left outside for about 4 hours, the ice packs were still frozen solid when we opened the box.

The fish was high quality. We enjoyed it several ways: raw, in a soup, and pan-seared — and every preparation was absolutely delicious. Very impressed with the freshness and flavor.

I tend to always get 2-3 fillets at a time during sales. They're good color. I use the heavy meat section to make cure for sushi. I definitely like this better than wild salmon, due to more fat content. I can also vouch that sushi restaurants order from Bakkafrost for their fish--we have a friend that constantly delivers us the heads afterwards! We use that and the bones to make soup afterwards.
